The Pontifical Mission Educational and Cultural Center came alive again as the six weeks summer camp kicked off last June 22 and concluded on July 31.  This had brought together around 95 amazing young people coming from Bethlehem, Beit Jala and Beit Sahour who started their fun-filled and meaningful summer camp journey with spontaneity, boundless energy, genuine eagerness to learn, and joyful playfulness.  Three different age groups with ages ranging from 6 to 17 years old and each group with a maximum of 37 participants went through a two-weeks’ journey filled with fun, friendship and discovery.  The activities of the different groups [...]

Summer Youth Camp 2024 Takes Off In Bethlehem After a hiatus of some 4 years, the PMECC Staff take up once again the well-sought-for, much-in-demand activities by parents eager to have their children nourished along these lines, making wise use of their summer time especially in the midst of an onslaught of social media outputs that need to be filtered. One-hundred and thirty-eight (138) student-participants from 28 schools have successfully passed the cut-off score of 1,125 points for the First Elimination Round of the Reading Competition, which culminated last November 23rd. They are now preparing themselves again for the Second Elimination Round, which will start this coming 7thof December 2020 until 15th of February 2021.
